We are so thankful for all of those who support Northside Middle FCCLA!

Northside Middle School

Northside Middle School is proud to host our FCCLA chapter. We are grateful to our CTAE department for making FCCLA possible. We also extend our thanks to our staff for their ongoing support in organizing our monthly chapter meetings. In August of 2023, FCCLA held a recruitment meeting, where we invited State Officer Bryna Mackenzie and Region 7 Officer Lily Walton to speak to attendees about FCCLA and the benefits of joining. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated support of our school staff!

Mr Basby

Mr. Basby is our wonderful Assistant Principal and CTAE Supervisor, and he supports us in every way he can. He actively promotes FCCLA and assists us with events, ensuring their success. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and the positive impact he has on our chapter.

Deputy Ingram

Deputy Ingram is our beloved SRO at Northside Middle School. He participates in chapter meetings with the students, supports our fundraisers, and is a constant source of encouragement for our chapter. Thank you, Officer Ingram!

Mr. Levie

Mr. Levie is our amazing engineering teacher and TSA advisor. He supports our chapter by partnering with us for meetings and activities, assisting with fundraisers, and consistently encouraging the students in our chapter. Thank you, Mr. Levie!

2023-2024 Officer Team

Some of our past officers, Josie Wise, Haley Clark, Aayla Pierce, Zada West, and Kenya Brown, continue to support our chapter even though they have left Northside Middle School. They come to chapter meetings and talk about their experiences in FCCLA, participate in chapter events, and help us with activities like dances. Thank you former officers!

FLINT ENERGY

In September 2022, Northside Middle School FCCLA received $5,000 from the Flint Energies Operation Round-Up program. This program is a community service initiative that supports local charitable and community organizations. The Operation Round-Up program involves rounding up participating members’ monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar, with the accumulated funds directed toward grants for various community projects.

Northside Middle School FCCLA utilized these funds to support its members attending the 2022 National Leadership Conference in San Diego, California. These funds helped cover expenses such as travel, accomodations, registration fees, and materials needed for competitions. Participating in national conferences allows students to showcase their skills, learn from others, and network within the FCCLA community.
